A long time ago, I decided to try some creative writing.  I got out my recently purchased Psion series 3, created a file called writing, and began.  I wrote down a possible title for a collection of short stories.  I wrote down possible story titles.  I wrote down "snatches" of actual, er, writing.  Toward the end of the same file I began writing stuff for my web pages.  I worked on the file wherever and whenever I felt like it, but still found that I could not bring myself to actually call any of it finished.  I developed an unusually fast palmtop keyboard thumbing technique.

Recently I realised that I had been meaning to try and find some sort of outlet for what I had written.  Also, I had been meaning to actually put something on "my" web pages.  Such as the content contained in the end of the file called writing.  I decided to conclude writing, by writing the final two lines, and just stick it up.

My friends who are better at html than me helped me out by designing a scrolling eight line frame, thus staying close to the effect of the original [it works best with Netscape - JBR].
